In Iceland, the landscape does the talking—vast glaciers, black-sand beaches, and, on the right night, the sky glowing green. With an Iceland RV rental, you decide how long to stay and where to wake up next.
In Norway, the road becomes part of the adventure: dramatic fjords, waterfalls cascading into the sea, and summer nights that never quite turn dark. With a motorhome, you can stop whenever a view catches your eye and wake up somewhere just as beautiful.

June to August is generally best — mild weather, long daylight, and the highest chance highland roads (Iceland’s F-roads) and mountain passes (Norway) are fully open, though F-roads open on varying dates so always check current conditions before planning your route.
That said, off-season travel (late August–September, or even shoulder months) can be a great choice too — fewer tourists, easier bookings, and still-open roads and campsites, just with cooler weather and shorter daylight. Winter trips are possible but come with limited road access and daylight, so plan carefully. Contact info@touringcars.com for route-specific advice.
Yes, US and Canadian citizens are welcome to rent a motorhome with Touring Cars. Here’s what you need to know before booking:
Driver’s license: All our vehicles can be driven with licenses comparable to standard European Class B license (Up to 3500kg). Kindly, double check with your local transit authorities the validity of your license in the destination country if your license is issued outside the EU. You may be required to attain an international driving permit. The license needs to be in the Latin alphabet for us to be able to read it.
Digital driver’s licenses are not accepted at our rental stations, except for Norwegian digital driver’s licenses when traveling within Norway and Icelandic digital driver’s licenses while driving in Iceland. For all other cases, a physical driver’s license must be presented at the time of vehicle collection.
Age restrictions: The same age and driving experience requirements apply to all customers, regardless of nationality. These vary by country (for example, 19 years with 1 year of experience in Finland, versus 25 years with 2 years of experience in Norway) — please check the age restrictions for your specific pickup country.
Travel authorization: Travelers from visa-exempt countries will need electronic travel authorizations to enter both the Schengen Area and the UK:
If you are traveling to Europe or the UK, please check whether you need an ETIAS or ETA before your departure to avoid any travel disruptions. For more information, visit
If you’re planning to visit several countries during your trip, or have questions specific to traveling from the US or Canada, please contact our International Sales Office at info@touringcars.com in advance.
Yes, you can. If you are planning to visit several countries with the rental vehicle, please contact our International Sales Office via info@touringcars.com in advance to verify the requirements for possible insurance documents.
The green card is not in itself an insurance cover. It is a document recognized in all the participating countries as a proof that your vehicle has been insured to the necessary minimum, to meet the legal requirements of those countries. This requirement is often simply third-party insurance, covering you against a claim for damage you cause to another vehicle.
Our rental station will take care of the green card after you inform our International Sales Office via info@touringcars.com that you plan to cross borders.

Our current range is designed for up to 6 people — our Large category offers 5- and 6-berth motorhomes, which is the biggest size in our fleet. We don’t offer vehicles larger than this at the moment. Availability of the 6-berth option varies by station and season, so we recommend booking early if you’re traveling as a bigger group, and contacting our International Sales Office at info@touringcars.com if you need help finding the right size for your family.

Everyone’s Rights are a legal concept in Finland and other Nordic countries that grants the general public the freedom to access and enjoy nature without permission from the landowner.
It allows activities in nature such as walking, skiing, cycling, swimming, fishing (with hook-and-line or ice fishing), camping, foraging for berries and mushrooms, and driving a boat, provided they do so responsibly and without disturbing the environment, wildlife, privacy of others, or protected areas. While having this freedom, it is important to be mindful of nature, other people, and private properties.
Yes, all Touring Cars’ motorhomes have a built-in heating system that works in all conditions all year round. It can be used with gas or electricity when plugged into an electricity source.
Kindly note, if the temperature drops below +4°C, the heating must always stay on if there is any water in the water system. In very cold weather below -15°C, gas will be the main heat source, so be prepared for higher gas consumption compared to summer. Gas bottles can be replaced at petrol stations.
Our team will provide a thorough walkthrough of the motorhome and all its features during the pickup process.
Renting a motorhome in Europe is straightforward for US and Canadian travelers — here’s the step-by-step process:

To check one-way availability and one-way fee, please, proceed to our booking engine. The total price that you will see in the booking engine already includes the one-way fee.
We welcome all pets to all our rental vehicles! Kindly keep in mind that the pet cleaning service should be booked in advance if you would like to bring your pet with you. Pet cleaning fee includes a thorough cleaning and ionizing treatment for the motorhome after the rental.
Kindly note that our final cleaning service does not include pet cleaning.
Our customers are obligated to take good care of the motorhome and be cautious while driving. Kindly note that all damages must be reported, even if they seem minor. Transparency helps us process any insurance claims smoothly and helps us to keep the fleet in great shape for future travelers.
